A total of 61 athletes from KIIT and KISS have been selected to participate in the 38th National Games, set to take place in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14, 2025. This marks another proud moment for the institutions, which have consistently nurtured young sports talent at the national and international levels.
The 38th National Games, often referred to as the ‘Mini Olympics of India’, will witness participation from athletes across the country in 32 sports disciplines and four demonstration events. The event, being hosted by Uttarakhand for the first time, is also India’s first-ever Green Games, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly sporting initiatives.
KIIT & KISS Athletes in Various Disciplines
A strong contingent from KIIT and KISS, comprising 20 male and 41 female athletes, will compete across 11 sports disciplines. Their participation breakdown is as follows:
