Ms. Lipsa Dash, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Law bagged the Best Paper Award for the paper titled “Tussle of Intellectual Property Rights and Privacy Laws with reference to Artificial Intelligence in the Healthcare Sector”. The paper was presented at the 6th International Conference on Advances in Business & Law (ICABL) held from 26th to 27th November 2022 at the University of Dubai. She also received a grant by the World Bank under Odisha Higher Education Programme for Excellence and Equity for the paper. She chaired a session as a discussant in the same conference. She was also considered as the best presenter of her session and was praised for the in-depth research on the topic. In the study the authors discussed the legal challenges involving Artificial Intelligence.
