Kudos to The Young Scientists of KIIT IS

IIT Kharagpur organizes the YOUNG INNOVATOR PROGRAM every year to promote  innovative ideas of children in the field of Science and Technology.This year, 6 projects out of 1000  were selected  from contestants from India, Singapore, Indonesia and Muscat. The selected students showcased their projects with a powerpoint presentation to the panel of eminent judges from IITs, CSIR, IISc.

The project named “Water Dispenser for differently abled people” designed by Pritesh Deb, Ankit Sahu and Ankit Pradhan from grade VIII of KiiT International School was chosen  as the best project and bagged the 1st position. The students were awarded with Certificates, a trophy and a cash award of Rs 50,000.

They were ably guided by Mr. Bijoy Mathur and Mrs. Jharana Pany. The project and the young innovators were highly praised by the eminent scientists from all over particularly by the Chairperson of KiiT IS Dr. Monalisa Bal and Principal Dr. Sanjay Suar.
