KSOM Faculty Receives Prestigious
APJ Abdul Kalam Teachers’ Excellence Award
Prof. Shikta Singh, Associate Professor & Chair, MBA Health Care Management at KIIT School of Management (KSOM) received the prestigious APJ Abdul Kalam Teachers’ Excellence Award, AICTE, Govt. of India in the presence of Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE.
She was one of the speakers in the four-day Awardee Conclave organized by Shikshak Kalyan Foundation in association with AICTE. She expressed her views on challenges and problems faced by teachers and the ways to overcome them; the use of innovative tools developed by her as a mode of online teaching techniques; role for implementation of New Education Policy and her contribution as a teacher; and role as a teacher for Atamnirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant India).
She also spoke at length on Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS and his role in shaping the Future of Education. Her contribution for Teachers’ Welfare in respect of Faculty Development Programs and Students Development Programs was well appreciated.
This award was given in recognition and appreciation to the teachers for their excellence, dedication, and innovativeness in the field of education at the national level.
