KSOM Faculty Receives National Education Award APJ Abdul Kalam Teacher’s Excellence Award

Dr. Shikta Singh, Professor at KSOM, KIIT-DU was felicitated with the National Education Award APJ Abdul Kalam Teacher’s Excellence Award, AICTE, Govt. of India in the august presence of Dr. Subhas Sarkar, Hon’ble Minister of State for Education, Government of India and Shri SP Singh Baghel, Hon’ble Minister of State for Law & Justice, Government of India in the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. During the felicitation, she spoke about Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS and his unique contribution to the development of KIIT and KISS and the State at large. The audience was enthralled and a great round of applause was received when she mentioned how more than 30000 tribal students are being provided free education,  food and shelter at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS).
