KISS Achieves Impressive Results in CHSE +2 Exams; Girls Outshine Boys
The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has once again demonstrated academic excellence with stellar results in the CHSE Odisha Plus-Two Examinations, the results of which were declared on Wednesday.
Continuing its tradition of success, KISS recorded an impressive performance across all three streams—Science, Arts, and Commerce. Notably, girl students outperformed boys in this year’s examinations, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to empowering young women through education.
Pramila Khila topped the Arts stream with 84 per cent, while Krishna Kahnar secured the highest marks in the Science stream with 89 per cent. In the Commerce stream, Jema Singh emerged as the topper with 87 per cent.
In terms of first division results, KISS saw a marked improvement from last year. In the Science stream, 171 students secured first division, while in the Commerce stream, 182 students secured first division. In the Arts stream, 222 students secured first division marks. In all, 1870 students appeared in the exams.
Congratulating the students on their outstanding performance, the Founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, expressed his happiness and pride. “These results reflect the relentless dedication of our teachers and staff, as well as the hard work and perseverance of our students,” he said.
