KIMS PG Resident Gets First Prize in NCCP Annual State Quiz

Dr. Arpit Pandey, second year PG student from Department of Respiratory Medicine has received the first prize in the State-level Annual Non-Cardiac Chest Pain (NCCP) Quiz competition conducted at SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack for the year 2023.

By winning the first prize in the State, Dr. Arpit gets selected for the National-level quiz to be held in Hyderabad later this year. He got this prize although there was a stiff competition from other government-run medical colleges like SCBMCH Cuttack, MKCGMCH Berhampur, VSSUTMCH Burla and AIIMS Bhubaneswar along with all other PGs from private medical colleges like IMS & SUM MCH.

He also received prize money. Professor and HoD Respiratory Medicine, SCBMCH Cuttack  Dr. Jyoti Pattnaik presented the prize to Dr. Arpit. The second prize went to a PG student from MKCGMCH, Berhampur.
