KIMS Faculty Presents A Research Work at ISTH 2025 Congress in Washington, D.C., USA
A Research Work titled “Circulating Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Level in Venous Thromboembolic Disorder” was selected by the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) for poster presentation at the ISTH 2025 Congress, held from June 21st to 25th, 2025, in Washington, D.C., USA.
This research was led by Dr. Bandita Panda, PhD, Research Scientist – Clinical Proteomics and Genomics, Scientific Officer, Research and Development Department, KIMS; and Dr. Chandan Kumar Ray Mohapatra, Associate Professor & Head of the Department, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS), KIMS. The findings were presented in person by Dr. Chandan Kumar Ray Mohapatra on June 22nd, 2025, during the congress.
The Department of CTVS, KIMS has gratefully acknowledged the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Task Force for providing research funding. It has also extended sincere thanks to the Institute of Life Sciences for providing access to instrumentation facilities and for the support of the project staff.
Furthermore, the CTVS department has expressed its gratitude to KIIT Deemed to be University for its support through the provision of a travel grant, which enabled participation in the congress.
