KIMS Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification for Information Security Management System
Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) – Pradyumna Bal Memorial Hospital, has achieved the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification for Information Security Management System (ISMS).
This certification covers KIMS’ in-house Data Center operations, including server hosting, storage management, networking, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and client support services.
Achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is an important milestone in KIMS’ continuing digital transformation journey. It reflects our commitment to establishing robust information security practices, strengthening the protection of critical healthcare information and IT infrastructure, and ensuring the resilience and reliability of its digital operations.
In today’s increasingly digital healthcare environment, information security and continuity of technology services are fundamental to delivering safe, dependable, and efficient patient care. This achievement demonstrates KIMS’ continued focus on adopting internationally recognized standards and strengthening its technology governance framework.


The certification was awarded following an independent assessment by QRO, with the certification effective from 3 August 2026.
This accomplishment has been made possible through the collective efforts of the KIMS leadership, IT team, Data Center team, and all supporting departments and stakeholders who contributed towards implementing and maintaining the required information security controls and processes.
