KIIT University Women Hockey Team Creates History, Clinches Bronze Medal at All India Inter University Women’s Hockey Championship
In a moment of pride and glory, the KIIT University Women’s Hockey Team has scripted history by securing the Bronze Medal at the All India Inter University Hockey Women’s Championship 2024-25. Hosted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, from February 21 to 26, 2025, this prestigious tournament, organized under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, witnessed intense competition among 16 top universities across India.
This remarkable achievement marks the first time KIIT University has qualified for the Semi-Finals, showcasing their grit, resilience, and unwavering determination. Their journey to the podium was nothing short of inspiring, as they defeated Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, in a nail-biting 4:3 victory to claim the third position.
