KIIT Team Wins Big at IIT Kharagpur
NTI : Next To Impossible is a robotics group under the guidance of Prof. Sambit Prasad Kar which operates from Design Thinking Lab, School of Electronics Engineering., KIIT Deemed to be University.
The team consisted of four members Shivam Singh, Shivam Chanda and Amlan Sarkar from CSSE and Rishav DE from CSE built two robots, BEETLE: An all terrain robot based on rocker bogie mechanism and KURMA: An amphibious robot which can perform certain task like picking things and placing them in both land and water.
Both the robots competed in the events named Sand rover and Droid Blitz at Techno Management fest Kshitij of IIT Kharagpur organized from 17th January to 19th of January, 2020.
There were multiple events took place to outshine the technological involvement among the students. KIIT team won the Droid-blitz 2020 event and awarded first prize worth rupees 25000/-. The team was highly praised by the Professors of IIT Kharagpur for their innovative ideas.
