KIIT Team Bags 4 Position University of Queensland Engineering Design Challenge 2021

The design of KIIT students’ team from School of Computer Engineering bagged the 4th position out of 30 teams all over the world in the recent University of Queensland Engineering Design Challenge 2021. Their design was titled “Flood Resilience in India, An Initiative.” The team members and the academic mentor Dr. Manjusha Pandey, Associate Professor, School of Computer Engineering, KIIT-DU put in their hard work to make KIIT-DU proud at the international level through the University of Queensland Engineering Design Challenge 2021. The design challenge participation was supported by IRO KIIT-DU. All the participants and Dr. Manjusha extended enthusiastic and timely support to the IRO team to coordinate the program.

The UQ congratulated KIIT team on their participation in the challenge, and for their professional presentation and innovative design solution. The KIIT team performed strongly and was selected as one of the top eight teams to present live at the challenge finale. The judging panel was very impressed by the designs presented by all teams for the challenge, and it was great to see a wide range of design solutions proposed to improve the flood resilience of many different communities throughout India. The Team Members were V.N. Ayush Mudaliyar, Bittu Rai, Som Mohanty, Abhishek Kumar, Sushant Kumar, and Academic mentor, Dr. Manjusha Pandey.
