KIIT Student selected for Global Youth Achievers Kalaratna Award 2020
Arijit Bhattacharya, a member of Korus Society, KSAC & student of Biotechnology has been selected and will be receiving the “Global Youth Achievers Kalaratna Award 2020 by MVLA foundation in Mumbai on 3rd October, 2020.
Arijit Bhattacharya has been playing Sitar since last 7 years. Initially he started learning from Pt. Bivas Samanta and now is being trained by the sitar maestro *Pt. Purbayan Chatterjee.* Nurturing and caring Indian classical music with 7 strings Arijit belongs to the Senia Maihar Gharana . He was awarded by *Special Honorary Achievement Award by Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan, Tamluk Branch in January 2020*
He is a great music enthusiast and looks forward to carry the legacy of Hindustani Classical Music to the next level.
