KIIT Student Akanksha Kabi Felicitated
KIIT and KISS Founder Dr Achyuta Samanta felicitated KIIT student Akanksha Kabi, who has been conferred the National Service Scheme (NSS) award by President Draupadi Murmu for the year 2020-21 on 24th September. The award was presented at a function on Saturday at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Felicitating Kabi, Dr. Samanta said, the recognition was a proud moment for the KIIT group of institutions. Besides Akanksha Kabi, three other volunteers from Odisha were conferred the NSS award in recognition of their distinguished services. The awards were presented under three different categories. Akanksha has won numerous awards since her childhood days. She has exhibited her talents in different events and activities. In 2009, she had won the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Purashkar and in 2011, she had won the KIIT Nanhi Pari contest. Besides, she has won more than 700 awards and recognitions.
