KIIT Law Students Victorious in National Moot Court Competition Felicitated by University Each participant awarded a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh

The students of KIIT Law School, who emerged victorious in the 37th Bar Council of India (BCI) National Inter-University Moot Court Competition, were felicitated with great enthusiasm on campus today.

The Founder of KIIT and KISS Dr. Achyuta Samanta, congratulated the winning students and faculty members along with cash awards. Each of the participants were given a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.

The moot court competition was held at Karnavati University, Gandhinagar Gujarat, from November 15 to 17. KIIT Law School has achieved the distinction of being the first private university to win this prestigious competition three times.  Established in 2007, KIIT Law School has gained a reputation as one of the country’s leading law schools, with this achievement being a noteworthy addition to its accolades.

Previously, KIIT Law School won the BCI National Moot Court Competition twice, and with this third victory, it has created history. The institution is renowned for its world-class infrastructure, advanced library facilities, dedicated moot court setup, and a team of skilled and experienced faculty members.

The felicitation ceremony today was attended by KIIT VC Prof. Saranjit Singh; Pro VC Prof. Debashish Bandyopadhyay; Prof. Emeritus KIIT Law School Prof N L Mitra; Registrar Prof. J R Mohanty; and KIIT Law School Director Professor Rose Varghese, among other dignitaries.
