Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar is among a handful of Indian universities to enter the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021.

Bringing much happiness to the entire staff and student community of the University, KIIT’s Computer Science Faculty has been ranked in the band of 501-600 by The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021. This is a significant improvement from the last year, reflecting KIIT’s continuous march towards excellence. It is also pertinent to mention that KIIT has been ranked in 601-800 band for its Engineering and Technology stream. KIIT Deemed to be University has always been ranked prominently among private universities in India and among the top most in Odisha.

“It is our constant endeavour to be the best, and we work relentlessly to achieve it through innovation, best practices and non negotiable commitment to research. I congratulate the staff and students of KIIT for this achievement with these few words – that success lies in consistency and not one-time achievement. Congratulations to KIIT for making the mark”, said Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS.

KIIT is just 23 years old as an institution for professional education (started in 1997) and 16 years old as a University (declared in 2004). But, despite being a very young university, it has secured impressive positions in various benchmark global university rankings.
