KIIT DU Achieves Prestigious Recognition

KIIT Deemed to be University has been honored by the World Book of Records, London, for successfully conducting five lakh internships over the last three years. This achievement is part of a collaborative initiative with EduSkills Foundation and AICTE, under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The recognition reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to provide students with practical industry exposure and enhance their career readiness. KIIT-DU has achieved significant recognition in the AICTE-EduSkills Virtual Internship, ranking 14th in the All India University Rankings.

Prof. (Dr.) Suman Bhattacharya, Director of Kareer School, KIIT received the Director Excellence Award and chaired a session on The Future of Indian Higher Education. Dr. Priyadarshi Biswal, Dean, Kareer School, was honored with the Talent Connect Excellence Award 2024, while Mr. Anshu Kumar, Trainer and Program Manager at Kareer School, was awarded the Best Performing Center of Excellence Coordinator Award 2024.

The event was attended by the Chairman AICTE, COO, AICTE, President SAARC University Association, over 20 Vice Chancellors of reputed Universities and more than 50 corporate leaders, besides parliamentarians, academicians, across India and SAARC countries.
