Indian University Archery Selection Trials for FISU World University Games 2025 at Rhine-Ruhr, Germany Organized at KIIT University
KIIT – Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, continues to set benchmarks in sports excellence by hosting the prestigious selection trials for the Indian Universities Archery (Men & Women) Teams. Entrusted by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, the trials commenced today 25th March 2025 at the KIIT & KISS International Archery Stadium and will continue until March 27, 2025.
With over 300 archers, including National and International archers from more than 100 universities across India are participating in the selection trials; these trials mark a crucial step towards global sporting success. The selected athletes will proudly represent India at the FISU World University Games 2025, scheduled to take place in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany, from July 16 to 27, 2025. These trials are not just about selection; they symbolize the spirit of dedication, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence on the international stage.
A Selection panel of distinguished experts is overseeing the trials to ensure that the finest talent earns a spot on the Indian University Archery Team for the WUG 2025:

Upcoming Selection Trials for Volleyball, Tennis & Athletics
In addition to the Archery Selection Trials, KIIT University will also host Volleyball, Athletics and Lawn Tennis Selection Trials in April. These trials will be followed by a one-month coaching camp at KIIT University. The objective is to identify India’s most promising university athletes and prepare them to compete at the FISU World University Games 2025.
