KIIT-DU Signs MoU with Vietnam’s HCMC University of Technology and Engineering to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration
Reinforcing its commitment to global academic engagement and international collaboration, KIIT Deemed to be University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HCMC University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE), one of Vietnam’s leading institutions in technology and engineering education.
The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT Deemed to be University and Associate Professor Le Hieu Giang, President of HCM-UTE, in the presence of senior officials from both universities.
The collaboration aims to strengthen academic and research cooperation between the two institutions through initiatives such as student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects and publications, participation in seminars and academic meetings, collaborative training programmes and the sharing of institutional best practices and quality assurance mechanisms.

Technology and Engineering to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration
This strategic partnership was facilitated through the dedicated efforts of Dr. Chinmay Chakraborty, Head-COIR-Medical Technology, KIIT whose academic outreach and engagement with HCM-UTE played a pivotal role in bringing the two institutions together. His efforts have laid the foundation for meaningful cooperation in education, research, innovation and global knowledge exchange.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh highlighted the importance of international partnerships in fostering academic excellence and preparing students for a globally connected future. He expressed confidence that the collaboration would open new avenues for interdisciplinary research, innovation and cultural exchange between India and Vietnam.
He also conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS & KIMS, for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to internationalization, which has enabled KIIT to build meaningful partnerships with leading institutions across the world and emerge as a globally recognized university.
