KIIT Law School Hosts Law Firms Konclave 2026
KIIT Law School (KLS) successfully organized the Law Firms Konclave 2026, centred on the theme, “From Reform to Readiness: Aligning Legal Education with the Future of Law Firm Practice in India.” The Konclave served as a dynamic platform for meaningful dialogue between academia and the legal industry, focusing on the evolving expectations of law firm practice in India and the role of legal education in preparing future professionals.
The event commenced with an inaugural address and keynote lecture by Prof. (Dr.) N. L. Mitra, Professor Emeritus, who shared valuable insights on the transformation of legal education and the need to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
This was followed by an engaging panel discussion featuring distinguished experts from the legal industry, including Mr. Prasanth V. G., Mr. Siddhartha Datta, Mr. Vineet Rohilla, Mr. Naveen Varma, Mr. Nipun K. Bhatia, and Mr. Puneet Rath Sharma. The panel deliberated on contemporary developments in law firm practice, the skills expected of young legal professionals, and the importance of curriculum reform to meet the dynamic needs of the legal market.

A unique highlight of the Konclave was the interactive discussion tracks, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with partners and industry leaders. These sessions enabled participants to gain practical insights into the realities of law firm practice, professional expectations, and career pathways in the corporate legal sector.
The Konclave concluded with a vibrant industry-academia interaction, further strengthening collaboration between legal education and the legal profession.
