KIIT students were invited to attend the observation of the State-Level Good Governance Day on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The programme was held on 25th December 2025 at Krushi Shiksha Sadan, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
A total of 40 KIIT students residing in KIIT hostels, along with two staff members—Mr. Abhishek Mohanty, Executive, and Mr. A. Mouneswar Murty, Assistant Manager—participated in the programme. Students from other universities were also invited to the programme. The students were encouraged and guided by Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU, and Mr. Snehasish Rout, Director, General Administration & Hostel Affairs, KIIT-DU.
The programme was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, along with other senior leaders. It was organized by the Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Odisha, at OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
On the occasion, the Hon’ble Chief Minister launched several digital initiatives aimed at strengthening good governance in the State. The participating students had a valuable learning experience and benefited greatly from the programme.
