The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), KIIT-DU successfully organized a Faculty Enrichment Workshop on “Digital Transformation & Emerging Technologies” in association with Protiviti India on 22nd March 2025. The workshop aimed to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, skill development, and networking, enabling faculty participants to harness the power of digital transformation and emerging technologies to enhance teaching, research, and student engagement. The workshop was attended by faculty members of various Schools of KIIT.

During the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Siddharth Swarup Rautaray, Dean IQAC welcomed the guest and resource persons from Prottiviti and faculty participants. Prof. (Dr.) Prachet Bhuyan, Dean-Training & Placement, in his address, emphasized the today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world and importance for educators to stay abreast of the latest advancements and innovations.

Prof. (Dr.) Kumar Mohanty, Director-FDP, KIIT-DU, set the context, emphasizing the significance of digital transformation in education. Mr. Anand Jena, Managing Director, Digital Transformation, Protiviti, India expressed his happiness about their collaboration with KIIT-DU and briefed about the importance of Digital Transformation & Emerging Technologies.

The event witnessed the presence of eminent industry experts, including Mr. Ansuman Sharma, Senior Director, Technology & Digital, Protiviti, India; Mr. Chiranjib Sarma, Associate Director, Data & AI; and Ms. Sweta Nair, Senior Manager, Digital Transformation.

The technical sessions covered key aspects of digital transformation, AI, and emerging technologies. The workshop was curated with a comprehensive program featuring expert sessions, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities. The resource persons delved into cutting-edge topics such as AI, ML, etc. The program included three technical sessions with interactive discussions, networking breaks, and a lunch session. The event concluded with remarks summarizing key takeaways and the path forward for faculty engagement in digital innovation. The event was coordinated by the members of IQAC KIIT-DU.
