KIMS Shines at National Endocrine Conference at Bhubaneswar

KIMS has once again made its mark on the national stage, as its Endocrinology Department showcased outstanding research at the recently concluded National Endocrine Conference held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The event witnessed an impressive display of academic excellence, with faculty members and students from KIMS presenting innovative case studies and original research.

The KIMS team contributed significantly to the conference with two compelling case reports and one original study. Dr. Amogh presented a poster on a rare case of Precocious Puberty, shedding light on this uncommon yet significant endocrine disorder. On the other hand, Dr. Sheenam delivered an insightful poster on Kallmann Syndrome with FGFR1 Mutation, earning her the 3rd prize in the poster presentation category.

Dr. Vishal presented an interim analysis of his randomized controlled trial (RCT) titled “Efficacy of Dapagliflozin Plus Metformin versus Metformin Alone in Patients with PCOS,” which secured the 3rd prize in the oral presentation category.

The recognition received by the KIMS delegation underscores the institution’s commitment to advancing medical research and innovation in the field of endocrinology. The achievements of Dr. Amogh, Dr. Sheenam, and Dr. Vishal serve as a testament to their hard work and the exceptional academic environment at KIMS.
