As we arrived at the “Smart Village,” a bold sign welcomed us: “The Art of Giving.” This phrase captured the inspiring vision of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, whose commitment to spreading peace and joy resonates throughout this remarkable village.
One of the day’s most unforgettable moments unfolded when Mr. Biyat Bihari Mishra, the school principal, inaugurated the event by donating blood himself. His radiant smile lit up the room, inspiring everyone present. A diverse crowd gathered—some in their sixties, others perhaps a bit bleary-eyed from a late night—each patiently waiting to contribute, embodying the true spirit of giving. It was especially heart-warming to see so many courageous women stepping forward to donate, a testament to the strength of unity in support of a noble cause.
