KIIT Students Win Big at IIA Design Carnival

Students of KIIT School of Architecture and Planning (KSAP) have achieved noteworthy successes at the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Odisha’s Design Carnival event, “Samarth.” The students participated in numerous design and cultural competitions and secured a significant share of prizes in both formal and informal design competitions.

They claimed 1st place in the Cultural, Fashion, and Sketch-it-up competitions, and also earned the 2nd runner-up position in the Mask Making competition within the informal design segment. In the formal design category, they clinched 1st place in Futurescape, secured 2nd place in Major Design and Landscape, and attained 3rd place in Minor Design. Students from nine colleges across the state participated in these competitions.

The Design Carnival, held from September 9th to 10th, 2023 in Bhubaneswar, was organized by the IIA Odisha Chapter and was attended by delegates and prominent architects from across the country. Over 180 architects, professionals, academicians, and researchers participated in the two-day conclave and carnival.
