KSFT Faculty Brings Laurels

Ms. Itishree Sahoo, Faculty of KIIT School of Fashion Technology (KSFT) has won the National Level Embroidery Competition “Sui Dhaaga”, organized by Parul Institute of Design. She received the award for her excellent embroidery work by using Nakshi Kantha, a type of embroidered quilt. It is a centuries-old Bengali art tradition prevalent in Bangladesh, besides Indian states of West Bengal, Tripura, and parts of Assam.
