KSOL Organizes Valedictory-cum-Induction Meet for Japan Ready-Industry Ready Training Program

KIIT School of Languages (KSOL) in association with NEC Japanese Language Academy (NJLA) organized valedictory-cum-induction meeting of the Japan Ready-Industry Ready (JR-IR) Training Program on 8th April 2022. The event was graced by Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU); Mr. Ashok Kumar Chawla, Advisor (Japan), Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India; and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU along with officials and instructors from NJLA.

Prof. (Dr.) Beerendra Pandey, Dean, KSOL welcomed the distinguished participants and congratulated everyone for successful completion of the first session of JR-IR program and initiating the second session. The students of the 1st batch of JR-IR Training Program expressed gratitude to KIIT and their respective instructors at NJLA while sharing their positive learning experience on completion of their 240 hours training. Ms. Srishti Arora, Manager & Sales Head, NJLA coordinated the valedictory session. Thirteen students from different Schools of KIIT completed the first batch of training.

Subsequently, the  students of 2nd batch JR-IR Program from various Schools of KIIT were formally handed over to Ms. Kazue Khurana, Deputy Head of Academics, NJLA for the upcoming session of 240 hours training.

The exclusive Japan Ready- Industry Ready (JR-IR) program for students, fully sponsored by KIIT-DU, is a pioneering initiative envisaged by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS. The 240 hours of JR-IR course is provided by leading Japanese company NEC Corporation India Private Limited (NECI) as Japanese Language Training partner of KIIT-DU under guidance of Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India and Embassy of Japan in India. The training will make the students Bilingual Technical Evangelists which will enable them to go to Japan or work in Japanese or Japan related organizations in India. Further, some Japan related organizations in India may facilitate the internship to those students who will complete the required Japanese Language training and reach to a required level.

The session was initiated and moderated by Mr. Sameer Kumar Das, Deputy Director, KSOL.
