KIIT Faculty Delivers Speak and Search Lecture on Soft Computing Techniques in Mechanical Streams
Dr. Anish Pandey, Assistant Professor II, KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering (SME) delivered a virtual technical talk titled “Application of various soft computing techniques in different mechanical streams” under the Speak and Search Lecture Series of Academic Year 2021-22 organized by the SME on 20th November 2021.
The talk mainly emphasized on different soft computing techniques (e.g. PSO algorithm, GA, SA algorithm, etc.) that can be used for different complex real life problems. He elaborated the use of hybridization (so called evolutionary algorithm) of deterministic and non-deterministic algorithms to solve different problems. The lecture will present a new horizon to the students and researchers regarding how to use various soft computing techniques to solve different problems. Soft computing techniques have promising prospects in research related activities.
Professor Bharat Chandra Routara, Dean, SME appreciated Dr. Pandey for his valuable talk. Dr. Spandan Guha, Coordinator of the ‘Speak and Search’ Series moderated the engaging interactive session.
