KIIT School of Computer Science Engineering Conducts Kritagya- 2021

‘Kritagya-2021’, the second edition of ‘Kalakariya’, was held at KIIT School of Computer Science Engineering on 24^th September 2021 via online mode. The event, which comprised Dance, Song/Instrumental, Painting Slide shows, and Poetry performances, aims at giving a break to the students during their hectic schedule of studies, assignments as well as their home stay period, by involving them in online cultural activities.

Dr. Samaresh Mishra, Director, Student Affairs and Professor, KIIT School of Computer Engineering inaugurated the event in the presence of Dr. Biswajeet Sahoo, Director, KIIT School of Computer Science Engineering; Dr. Suresh Satpathy, Dean of Research. Dr. Manjusha Pandey, Associate Professor praised the students for their active participation in the competition. Ms. Roshni Pradhan, Assistant Professor coordinated the dance segment, while the student coordination was done by Mr. Sankalp Nayak, Assistant Professor.

Dr. Manjusha Pandey moderated the competitions with the help of volunteers – Student Coordinator, Shilpi Raj, Debadrito, Abir Mishra, Kunal Meel, Saiyam, Shristi Swaraj, and Kislay Kaushik. The event consisted of song performances by Aniruddha Saha, Vineet Mishra, Prerna Mishra, Subhadeep and Rajal Srivastava; dance by Ishani Kislay, Taufiq Alam, Janhvi Priya, Debasmita Das, Pratichi, Avantika Choudhry and Avantika Lenka; poetry by Shilpi Raj and Avantika Choudhry; and a showcase of beautiful paintings by Chandrani Bera.

It had a game named ‘The Guess Game’, which was coordinated by Anushka Tripathi, Kislay Kaushik, Shristi Swaraj, Kunal Meel and Shilpi Raj. Shilpi Raj, Mayank Kumar, Abir Mishra, Ananya Dev Choudhry, Debarghya Mukherjee, Adyasha Satpathy, Zenab Habib and Anushka Bakshi anchored various sections of the event. The event’s glory was increased when Dr. Prachet Buyan, Associate Professor took over the stage with a beautiful song. Mr. Sagar Patnaik, Assistant Professor also interacted with the students.
