KIIT CAAS Organizes Webinars on Start-Ups & Entrepreneurship, ML Fundamental, Problem Solving and Industry Applications

Webinars on ‘Start-Ups & Entrepreneurship’ and ‘ML Fundamental, Problem Solving & Industry Applications’ were organized by Career Advisory & Augmentation School (CAAS), KIIT Deemed to be University. These Webinars, which were meant for the School of Technology students from 2017-2021, 2018-2022 and 2019-2023 graduating batches, provided a comprehensive idea on career opportunities in Start-ups & entrepreneurship as well as in machine learning and related projects.

Dr. Suman Bhattacharya, Director, CAAS; Dr. Priyadarshi Biswal, Dean, CAAS; and Mr. Subhranshu Sahoo, London-based IPR Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager addressed the webinar on Start-Ups & Entrepreneurship. They made students aware on Start-ups, their maturity path, strategies for protection and exploitation of IPR, Indian patent office guidelines for Start-ups, use of IPR by start-ups, and IPR strategies for technology Start-ups, etc.

Mr. Sachin Kumar, having industry experience in IT software, Development Languages, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Database Management and Network Administration, addressed the webinar on ML Fundamental, Problem Solving & Industry Applications.  He enlightened the students on traditional programming vs. machine learning, real world application of ML, how ML functions and evaluates, sample applications and inductive learning through sample questions.

Prof. Suman Bhattacharya set the context of the webinars, while Prof. Priyadarshi Biswal proposed the vote of thanks. The webinars were coordinated by the back office Team of CAAS.
