CAAS, KIIT-DU Organizes Webinar on ‘GRE & Opportunities for Engineering Graduates’

A Webinar on “GRE Preparation & Opportunities for Engineering Graduates” was organized by the Career Advisory & Augmentation School (CAAS), KIIT Deemed to be University for the students aspiring to take up MS courses abroad after engineering. Schools of Technology students from 2017-2021, 2018-2022 and 2019-2023 Graduating Batches participated and were given analytic clarity on the emerging higher education scenario in foreign universities, while addressing the apprehensions and excitement of the prospective engineers.

The expert professional, Mr. Sumeet Verlekar, an MBA from Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley talked about the procedural details of pursuing MS abroad. Most universities abroad would require the students to take GRE along with an English Proficiency Test such as IELTS or TOEFL. It is advisable to take the help of experts for the same that would help the students to score over others. He discussed the selection procedure, curriculum of the different universities abroad, application requirements of all the shortlisted institutions, primary documentations, application fees and student’s loan. He emphasized how to be ready with the arsenal of information beforehand to make the entire process hassle free and answered various questions of the students.

Among the other dignitaries present in the webinar were Dr. Suman Bhattacharya, Director-CAAS; and Dr. Priyadarshi Biswal, Dean-CAAS including the faculty members of CAAS. Dr. Deepak Raut, Prof-in-Charge, Higher Studies Program, CAAS proposed the vote of thanks.
