KIIT SoEE releases Book titled “KIIT Electrical Project Expo(KEPE)-2020” on Virtual Mode

KIIT School of Electrical Engineering has released a Book titled “KIIT Electrical Project Expo(KEPE)-2020” on Virtual Mode. During the Online Launching Ceremony, at the outset, Prof. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Director, SoEE, welcomed all the dignitaries and members present in the meeting. He expressed his gratitude to the authorities of KIIT Deemed to be University for providing support to publish the book on B.Tech. Project works with ISBN No. He focuses the research credentials of the School for the last two months in terms of patents, publications, submission of project proposals, professional activities etc. He thanked the editorial team, guides and reviewers for their hard work to publish the book in time. 

On behalf of editorial team members, Prof. Tapas Roy said that 27 number of selected B. Tech. projects have been published in the book titled “KIIT Electrical Project Expo(KEPE-20)” which covers 6 cutting edge research fields such as machine and power converters,  Electric Vehicles, Power Quality issues, Renewable Sources, Smart-grid, and Power generation. Release of KIIT Electrical Project Expo Book-2020 on Virtual Mode was made by all the dignitaries.

Prof. Sudarshan Nanda, Research Chair, KIIT DU congratulated the School for publishing the book on B. Tech. projects (KEPE-2020). He further suggested that a book should be published on M. Tech. and Ph.D. research works in near future.  Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU said that School of Electrical Engineering is the first School that has taken the initiative to publish a book on B. Tech. Projects. He congratulated the Director and his team for this initiative during this pandemic situation Covid-19. Prof. Saranjit Singh, Director, IEC, KIIT DU congratulated Prof. Panigrahi and his team for such a wonderful initiative. Further, he emphasized on the industrial connection to the project works.

Prof. Hrushikesh Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT DU congratulated the School and expressed his happiness for publishing the book on B.Tech. Project works with ISBN No. He appreciated faculty members for their involvement and outcomes in research and academics. Further, he shared his mind regarding “Industrial Mela” in future where industries might wait for participation which may be once in a year with a fixed date and month. He motivated all the faculty members and students to carry out qualitative research works and to connect with industries for collaborative research.

Vote of Thanks was extended by Prof. Snehalika, FIC, KIIT Electrical Project Expo. During the ceremony, all faculty members, M.Tech Scholars and Research Scholars of the School were present.
