Live Industry Focused Technology Webinar on “Achieving Automation Goal with AI Strategy’’ organized at KIIT DU

A Webinar was organized by Career Augmentation & Advisory School and Industry Engagement Cell on “Achieving Automation Goal with AI Strategy”. The inaugural episode of the Webinar Series wasaddressed by Mr. Satish Pandey, CEO, Siemens of Sri Lanka and Head of Strategy, Marketing and Corporate Quality management for Siemens Smart Infrastructure Business, India.

Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT DU inaugurated the Webinar Series and highlighted the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on the society at large. Prof. Saranjit Singh, Director-Industry Engagements while setting the context reiterated the indispensability of new age technologies and applications.

Mr. Satish provided a great extent of understanding on Artificial intelligence (AI) which is the basis for mimicking human intelligence that processes through the creation and application of algorithms built into a dynamic computing environment. The informative Webinar sparkled a sense of awareness on AI among all the 300 participants, especially during the Question Answer Round when students asked questions on fraud detection, start ups, and utility in core engineering domain etc.

Amongst other dignitaries present were revered Mr. Samir Panda, Management Representative; Prof. Suman Bhattacharya, Director, CASS; Prof. Kumar Mohanty, Director CR; all Associate Deans (T&P) along with Team Members of IEC, CAAS and T&P.

At the end, Guest Speaker Mr. Satish Pandey extended his thankfulness to the entire team for arranging such a wonderful platform with KIIT DU students and he congratulated Hon’ble Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta for his consistent encouragement towards the students for adopting new technologies and learning for a better tomorrow.
