Kolosseum 2k20 and Kuriocity 2.0 witness close to 2000 participants

Kolosseum 2k20 and Kuriosity 2.0 witnessed close to 2000 participants at the end of day. Participants from nearby Schools, B-Schools like BIITM & SSU, Technical Schools like ITER and IIIT Bhubaneswar  paid a visit. The games stalls were based on both fun and research, that helped the participants and the organizers learn from each other.

ACER sponsored two business research games. The first was Gaming Arena which focuses on the shift of gamers from mobile gaming to laptop gaming that would help them to study the market potential of gaming on laptops. And the second game, Let creators be creators, focuses on content creators, this is designed with respect to their newly to be launched laptop which comprehends what features the creators find useful.

The Zomato sponsored game, Food Kart, was built around checking the feasibility of diversification of their business of extending service hours. It was also designed to segment their target audience as per occupation and type of cuisine and the market for premium priced food.

White edge Pvt. Ltd. designed the game “Carry the Weight” which mainly focuses on consumers perception about paper bags. The game is designed around the usage and availability of paper bags in different kinds of stores.

Ferns & Petals sponsored game Organic Vibes was designed to study the market awareness about organic produce.

My focus(9c Technology Labs Pvt. Ltd.)  Sponsored game has 3 rounds, 2 reward based and one for survey round. It is based on house rent services, through these they aim to collect the preferred services their potential customer’s desire.

Along with the games, three business events were organized, the first event of the day was Strat-EASY. A business strategy making event which motivated all the 27 participants to come up with breakthrough new ideas, new value propositions and new concept.

The second event was Dare to Face, a marketing case study based event conducted between 11 AM to 1 PM at Kalam Hall. Dare to Face was designed around the recent problems that the corporates are facing. This event was based on real-time marketing cases and 33 teams participated in it including 6 teams who were from other colleges (outside participation).

The third business event was Business Quiz conducted between 2 PM to 3 PM at Auditorium, Campus 7. In all, 29 teams (3 teams from other colleges) participated in the 1st elimination round (online) and 9 teams qualified for the next round. 5 teams qualified for the finals from the 2nd elimination round. Prof. Surya Mishra who was the quizmaster for the event conducted the final- open quiz.

A unique Corporate Musical Event – Leadership Awakening through Music was held in the Campus-6 Auditorium at 5PM by Mr. Arnab Mallik and his wife, Mrs. Supriya Mallik. Mr Arnab Mallik is the co-founder of Learningsoil Edu. He explained  several management concepts like importance of coordination in a team, communication, leadership and other concepts  were presented to the students through Bollywood songs.
