Knowledge Dialogues on 17 SDG of United Nations – A Unique Initiative by KSOM

A series of In-Campus Dialogues by KSOM students, based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, taking one goal at a time held on 3rd January, 2020 to inculcate knowledge dialogues amongst the students. This is the first unique initiative of the kind towards greater education empowerment.

The first Grand Debate was held on 6th February, 2020 at the Auditorium, KSOM; purely as an initiative of BBA students, under the guidance of the task force of faculty members led by Prof. Isa Mishra. The final Debate witnessed participation of both national and international students, in the Auditorium packed with enthusiastic students and faculty members.

The jury comprised of Prof. S. N. Mishra, Dean, KSOM and Prof. Ashok Sar, Chairperson, MBA. Md. Sharif Kaihan from Afghanistan was adjudged as the best Speaker. The winning team included Yuvraj Sen and Pratyush Parida.

The other participants included Abdul Qader Tabassum, Abhishek Arya, Abdul Kadir, Karamveer Singh Thakur, Pragati Chopdar, Mamadi Diabate, Rahul Dey. The event was coordinated by students namely, Jyotika, Riya & Zainalabdeen. Rohit Sahajwani anchored the event.
