Inauguration of EWL Centre at KIIT-ITI
A specialized skill centre (EWL Centre) was inaugurated at KIIT-ITI on 16th December, 2019 by Shri R. N. Dash, Secretary KIIT & KISS and Sri P. K. Sahoo, Director, Estate & Establishment in the presence of Dr. Mihir Ranjan Nayak, Director-Planning KIIT-DU; Sri B. K. Mishra, GM-CSR KIIT; Dr. Gangadhar Mishra, Principal-ITI and other staff members of KIIT-ITI.
The skill centre is intended for training of the ITI Trainees, so that they will be skilled for production of building construction materials using sheet metals. The Secretary of KIIT & KISS appreciated the initiatives taken towards producing future entrepreneurs. The Director, E & E congratulated the team ITI for this advanced work centre and advised to start up other similar stations for other engineering fields.
The Director, Planning expressed his best wishes to the staff members of ITI for this initiative and encouraged to set-up similar labs in the near future. The GM-CSR appreciated the lab infra & advised industry tie up for its growth. The Principal-ITI thanked the esteemed dignitaries for their valuable suggestions and appreciated the efforts put by his team members.
