KIIT School of Electrical Engineering conducted Inaugural Function for the 4th Batch of Skill Development Program “SURYAMITRA”. It was sponsored by MNRE, Govt. of India.
During the inaugural function at Campus-3 on 12th September, 2019, Welcome Address was given by Dr. P.K. Sahu, FIC, Suryamitra Program, SoEE.
Prof. (Dr.) C.K. Panigrahi, Dean School of Electrical Engineering addressed the gathering on the importance of the Skill Development Program. He requested the Trainees to work cohesively and enhance the leadership quality to understand time management during such 3 months of Skill Development Program. All trainees should proud of KIIT-DU as it is declared as “Institution of Eminence” recently.
Mr. S. Choudhuri, Director (Vocational) KISS also addressed the gathering about future perspectives of this Skill Development Program.
Dr. Gangadhar Mishra, Principal-ITI and Mr. H.K. Nayak, Director, Finance highlighted the importance of Skill Training in our Country.
Dr. M.R. Nayak has also addressed the gathering and suggested the Trainees to work cohesively and enhance the leadership quality to understand time management during the 3 months of Skill Training Program.
Mr. N.P. Dash, DG, PMU, KIIT & KISS advised to become good human-beings and utilize all resources available in the KIIT School of Electrical Engineering. He appreciated the efforts taken by each trainers during the training program.
Shri R.N. Dash, Secretary and Advisor KIIT & KISS advised to become good human- beings and utilize all sorts of resources available in the KIIT School of Electrical Engineering. He also advised the students not to be area specific during the placement.
