Prof. Suprakas Sinha Ray, Chief Researcher and Director, DST/CSIR National Centre for Nanostructured Materials, Pretoria, South Africa delivered Lecture at KIIT School of Chemical Technology
KIIT School of Chemical Technology organized a lecture delivered by Prof. Suprakas Sinha Ray on the theme titled: “Nanotechnology: Road to Commercialization” at Campus-11 on 1st February, 2018.
Delivering the lecture, Prof. Suprakas Sinha Ray elaborated the role of Nanomaterials Technology in miniaturization of smart devices. He meticulously presented on the theme interspersed with facts & figures, examples and graphical analysis much to the enlightenment of the students and faculties present on the occasion.
Prof. Ray placed a brief idea about the R & D projects those are being pursued at DST and CSIR National Centre for Nanostructured Materials. Prof. Ray emphasized on the fact that science without social impact will not be appreciated in contemporary world. He also suggested the faculties and PhD scholars to orient their research according to the demand of the market to attract funding from industries.
