Social Innovation for Local India and Israeli Communities and Graduate Entrepreneurs (SILICE) Program organized at KIIT
KIIT organized a training meet for Erasmus Plus SILICE project. Delegates from Israel, Germany, Portugal, Scotland, Croatia and India are being the part of the program being held from 22-25th January, 2018.
The Social Innovation for Local India and Israeli Communities and Graduate Entrepreneurs (SILICE) program promotes social entrepreneurs in the ideation stage and helps them move to the next level by providing mentorship and equipping them with the necessary skill sets.
Dr. Achutya Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS addressed the delegation and inspired them with excerpt from his individual entrepreneurial journey. In the four day meet, apart from the extensive theoretical session that were conducted, the delegates were also taken on site visits all around KISS and other social enterprises to get a real time exposure on social entrepreneurship.
The meet led to creative intermingling among the intellectuals, proactive cross border leanings and opened the doors to promote more such programs. This would lead to the establishment of stronger relations among existing partners to achieve the common goal towards a better and more responsible society.
