KIIT MUN Valedictory Celebration

On April 5, 2019, the Declaration Ceremony and Valedictory Dinner for the Secretariat of KIIT International Model United Nations 2018 was organized at Sandy Towers, Bhubaneswar.

This ceremony is a part of the KIIT MUN insignia as every year, the Top 6 pass on the prestigious KIIT MUN flag over to the next set of juniors who will be preceding the conference.

The ceremony began with a General Body Meeting of the 2018 Secretariat where points regarding improvement in the standard and quality of KIIT International MUN 2019 was stressed upon. Further, Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Deputy Director, Student Services graced the occasion with his kind and encouraging words, followed by Dr. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar KIIT, who congratulated the team for their imminent success.

The Declaration Ceremony witnessed the pleasure of having Mr. Rohan Singh as the Secretary General, Mr. Swapnil Tripathi as the Deputy Secretary General, Ms. Shubhangi Mallik as the Director General, Mr. Arkarup Biswas as the Deputy Director General and Mr. Akshay as the Chargé d’affaires for KIIT International Model United Nations 2019. The ceremony was closed after a speech by Mr. Rohan Singh wherein he acknowledged his responsibilities and promised a more glorious seventh edition.
