A Guest Lecture on Emerging Industry Trends in Automotive Sector delivered at SME

A Guest Lecture on the topic “Emerging Industry Trends in Automotive Sector” under the banner of workshop series “Emerging Trends in Innovations in Mechanical Engineering (ETIME): Challenges & Opportunities” was delivered at KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering by Mr. Murali Balasubramanian (Asia Pacific Innovation Head, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India), on 29th March, 2019.

In 2 hours of his enlightening session, he emphasized on the latest trends, like AI, ADAS, Active Safety, Durability, Materials etc. which are changing the whole world of the Automobile Industry.

Topics such as channeling artificial intelligence into different functions of an automobile by the means of machine learning also were highlighted during his talk.

He talked about the emerging opportunities for the fresh graduates and readiness among the students to fulfill the industry requirements.
