Fresher’s Welcome Event “Byte-O-Mania-2018”
The fresher’s welcome event for the School of Computer Applications, KIIT Deemed to be University was held on the 7th of October, 2018 amidst much fanfare.
The 1st year BCA and MCA students and the MCA lateral entry students were welcomed wholeheartedly by the 2nd year students. Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar of KIIT DU; Prof. Veena Goswami, Director, School of Computer Applications and the Controller of Examinations, Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty graced the occasion and motivated the students thoroughly.
Prof. S. Samanta shared the pearls of wisdom and enlightened the students regarding the latest trends in the world of technology and the world class ranking of the university. Prof. Goswami spoke about the strong support system of the university and the student friendly facilities.
Prof. Mohanty illuminated the students regarding the various milestones achieved and the global benchmarks set by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. It was, in fact, an eventful day filled with excitement and exuberance .
