Will Power holds the key to success in our lives: 

Hon’ble Minister of State(Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of the State for Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, AVSM visited KIIT and KISS on 10 December 2017. On his arrival, he was given a rousing welcome by the 27000 students of KISS. The Minister was overwhelmed to witness admiration, love and affection from the indigenous children at KISS.

Addressing the students of KISS, the Minister said,

“Whatever dreams you have, try to convert those into reality. For this, you have to work hard with a strong resolution and determination.”

Later addressing the students, volunteers and members on the eve of ‘Yuva Sambhardhana Utsav’ organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Odisha Unit at the Auditorium KIIT Campus-6, Colonel Rathore said, ” There is always a challenge in every task, be it small or big. There is no shortcut to success.”

The Minister advised the students-volunteers,

“If you concentrate on a particular goal, work diligently with dedication and relinquish all other thoughts from your mind, then your desired objective will touch your feet.”

Colonel Rathore emphasized, “It is nothing, but willpower holds the key to fetch success in our lives.” In this context, citing  the example of Prof. Achyuta Samanta he said that Prof. Samanta has mounted to the pinnacle of success from obscurity and have achieved seemingly impossible by virtue of his incredible willpower.  

The Founder of KIIT & KISS Prof. Achyuta Samanta presented the welcome address and introduced the Guest to the audience. Mrs. Rita Bhagat, State Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Odisha presided over the meeting and narrated  the essence and objectives of the ‘Yuva Sambhardhana Utsab’. At the end, the Chief Coordinator of NYKS, Khurda District, Mr. Prabeer Kumar Pradhan proposed Vote of Thanks.
